I have been coming to Nick's Gyros since I visited from Texas as a kid. Now I live here. This place has been nothing but phenomenal with its food, seasonings of its meats, the quality of its fried goods and overall perfect with its portioning. Whether it be the traditional way or Nick's way, whether traditional meats or chicken, whether just a salad or a Philly cheese. This is a place you have to stop if you are a UNK student, resident or just passing through. It IS Kearney's Best Kept Secret.
Just stopped for gas and to look for a restaurant during our 10 Hour drive. We love a great Gyro! Well Nick makes just that! The kids got chicken baskets, which were enough to feed an army. It’s not high end, food, but for the quality and the price, my family was very very happy. Thanks nick for explaining the menu to me. Hey everybody, this guy is the local real deal. Make sure to go inside to order. If you have the time it’ll help save him some money and Nick was a great guy to talk to you. We will be back!
I have had the meat and cheese, the gyro, and and chicken Philly. All of them are excellent.
This is the happiest with a restaurant I've been in a long time. Great food for a cheap price. I got the gyro combo which came with fries and a fountain pop for less than $10. It is extra for any sauce and not even catchup is available at the tables but I know that for next time now. Gyro was great. Fries were great, like they stole them from McDonalds. They were hot and seemed made to order. Can't recommend this place enough. Will be my new stop in Kearney!

Oh my gooey deliciousness! How I love this place! Whether it’s a hangover you need to squash or a craving that’s hanging around, Nick’s has a cure for what ails! Such chewy REAL pita and the gyro meat better than anywhere else!
I love the gyro but had to try the Reuben. The corned beef and sauerkraut were good and having it on a fresh baked pita was a treat!
Brought the whole family and everyone had something amazing. The Nicks Gyro Combo was mine and it was fantastic. The gyro meat is properly spicy and served hot off the flat top. Definitely great value with ample portions and good side selections.

NICKS. holy moly. ive gone to nicks gyros three times now and every time, without fail, it exceeds my expectations. i just went a half hour before close and the food is just as hot and delicious as every other time i've been. phenomenal. the staff truly cares about their customers and works quickly every time. amazing. hard to spend money anywhere else after eating here - once you've had nicks it's hard to go back.
